Over the past twenty years equipment has changed, the building has changed, and the Valley has changed. The one thing that has not changed is Dr. Shah and Shah Eye Center’s commitment to excellence.

Dr. Shah has been treating patients for twenty years: treating thousands of patients, performing cataract surgery, treating Glaucoma, prescribing glasses and contacts.

As new technological advances emerge, Dr. Shah studies,
attends clinics and assists other surgeons who have mastered these new technologies, honing his skills to precisely perform them. As LASIK and PRK have made great advances in patient outcomes, Dr. Shah continues to invest in the technology to bring the people of the Valley some of the most modern equipment and methods available today.

Dr. Shah was the third ophthalmic surgeon in Texas to perform the KAMBA inlay procedure and become certified in the KAMRA inlay method. In addition to acquiring the skills of the advancements of new procedures, Dr. Shah is an eye care specialist and surgeon for Discovery Clinical Trials. His contribution to Discovery Clinical Trials is to test new procedures, methods and equipment, create new and improved surgical procedures to improve eyesight, and advance eye care.
